Leah Pritchett in Top Fuel and Alexis DeJoria in Funny Car made NHRA history on Sunday as the two gave the series a first-time weekend sweep in the Nitro Classes.
Pritchett, driving the Papa Johns Dragster, beat Antron Brown for her fourth win of the season and fifth of her career, while DeJoria in the Tequila Patron Toyota Camry outran Tommy Johnson Jr. for the Funny Car win at the Lucas Oil Nationals in Brainerd, Minnesota.
DeJoria's win was her first since Las Vegas in 2016 and gave the series its 250th win for a female overall class.
Rookie Tanner Gray captured his fourth win of the season in Pro Stock, defeating Bo Butner.
Jerry Savoie won the battle of Suzukis in Pro Stock Motorcycle, beating LE Tonglet.
